When it comes to the issue of marriage, some people become paranoid when asked when they will walk down the aisle or introduce their partners to their parents.
This 28-year-old man Faiz Nurdin has been arrested in Indonesia for killing his pregnant neighbour, Aisyah, who asked him when he would get married. This question reportedly got him offended. The tragic incident took place on Friday, January 19, in Kampung Pasir Jonge. It was reported that the 32-year-old lady was strangled to death by Nurdin when he visited her home. She was strangled in her bedroom.
Police officers further disclosed that when she walked to her room, Nurdin quietly followed and pushed her onto the bed. The pregnant woman tried to fight back by biting his fingers but to no avail. The enraged suspect strangled the victim to death with his bare hands. The police said: “The suspect then stole some money worth RM230 and the victim’s smartphone in the room. He then fled the scene to Kalideres, Jakarta but the authorities still managed to catch him after firing a shot at his leg. A few items were seized at the scene such as a motorcycle, a pillow, a pair of slippers, a t-shirt and a piece of cloth.”
Report also has it that the young man was not only arrested but has been arraigned in court and would be sentenced to life imprisonment.
